F16 Fighter Pilot
last week we had career day at our school. Im going to talk to you about my favorite career. My favorite career was the F16 Fighter Pilot. He told us that inorder to be a fighter pilot or any other kind of pilot you needed to know math, science, and sociel studies.(boring). He told us a story that the missles that iraqiens use are as big as a telephone pole, and one day a buddy of his was flying a mission and got hit by one but didnt know it, well all of his sensors and stuff were going off saying "warning, warning fire eject". He didnt know what was happening until he looked back and saw that the back end of his plane was missing. he ejected and got captured and spent 2 years in a prison but they were able to get him out. I asked him how his job effected the community and he said you save lives in america and thats just a great feeling. Then I learned that fighter pilots carry a lot of heavy and expensive equiptment. The reason I want to be a fighter pilot is to save lives too. I want to know what that feeling is like cause from what I've heard from the fighter pilot it's a very great feeling.I have a lot of other reasons why I want to be a fighter pilot but i'll just tell you a little bit of them. my second reason is cause I want to see the world from a better veiw cause ive never been in an airplane. Well this is all the time I had but it was fun telling you about my favorite career. bye!!!!!!!!!

You did a great job of sharing details about what you learned on career day. Obviously you were a good listener that day! I admire that you are brave enough to do that job. Saving lives and protecting freedom is very important. I love flying in an airplane, and I agree that you will like the view. I appreciate your opinion, but I disagree with you about social studies. I think SS is fascinating! :) Keep up the great blog writing!
